AdvantAge 50 is a free program for people age 50 and better that offers perks for its members.

Health Savings

Health savings are available to AdvantAge 50 members, including:

• Prescription discounts at SBL's Prairie Medical Pharmacy, located off of the Main Lobby (Entrance A). (Discount does not apply to over-the-counter items).

• 10 percent discount on all non-covered Medicare or insurance items at SBL Home Medical Equipment in Mattoon and Effingham

• Discounted Lifeline installation. (One-half of the installation fee is waived for Lifeline, our personal emergency response system

To receive the discounts, identify yourself as an AdvantAge 50 member at the time of registration.

Convenient Parking

Priority parking is available in the front (south) parking lot of Sarah Bush Lincoln and the ER when you display your AdvantAge 50 tag in your car window.

Free valet parking at Entrance A, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Cafeteria and Bistro Brew Discount

Receive 25 percent off your purchase in the Health Center cafeteria, the Basement Bistro and the Bistro Brew coffee shop, by showing your membership card.

Dial-a-Ride

Discounted cost when using Dial-A-Ride to and from the Health Center campus, SBL Home Medical and SBL Clinics in Coles and Douglas County. Call 1-800-500-5505 to schedule your ride. Be sure to have your AdvantAge 50 discount card ready when you board the bus.

Gift Shop Discount

Receive a 10 percent discount at the SBL Gift Shop. The Gift Shop features beautiful and unique gifts. The 10 percent discount can be used on most items, excluding candy, cards and flowers.
